New UVM President Starts Job
The new president of the University of Vermont says his top priority will be to ensure that no qualified student is denied a higher education because of the cost
President E. Thomas Sullivan met with reporters Monday during his first day leading UVM. Sullivan will hold his first budget meeting this week and plans to be disciplined in aligning the university’s priorities with its academic strengths.
Sullivan, a law professor and an expert on antitrust law, was vice president and provost at the University of Minnesota before coming to UVM.
