New York officials have announced that two state-owned ski centers will open on Sunday.
Governor Cuomo’s office announced that Gore and Whiteface Mountains will open for the ski and snowboarding season on Sunday.
Gore, in North Creek, has been making snow since November 12th and has two miles of trails.
Whiteface has been making snow since November 7th and hasat least three trails open.
The state’s other ski center Belleayre, in Highmount, will open on Nov. 28th , weather permitting.
