New York State Assemblyman Marc Butler On His Decision To Retire In 2018

Sep 15, 2017

New York state Assemblyman Marc Butler, a Republican from the sprawling 118th District, will not run for re-election in 2018.

Butler was first elected in 1995 to represent the district that stretches from near the Canadian border to north of Rome and Utica to the Adirondacks. He explained why he decided not to not seek a 12th term to WAMC’s Southern Adirondack Bureau Chief Lucas Willard.
