Opposition Organizes For West Springfield Casino Referendum

A group has organized to oppose Hard Rock International’s plans to build an $800 million resort casino in West Springfield, Massachusetts.    The casino development is subject to a make or break voter referendum in the town of 30,000 people on September 10th.   WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Nathan Bech who is spearheading the “No Casino West Springfield” campaign.
