Parish Members Stage Sit-In To Keep Church Open
By Charlie Deitz
Adams, MA – Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church in Adams, Massachusetts held its final mass Sunday afternoon. The Diocese of Springfield is asking the congregation to join with two other local parishes to form one parish that will meet in another local church beginning on the new year. Some parishioners are staging a vigil to protest the closing of St Stanislaus, by staying in the building day and night.
