Pittsfield Police are looking for a suspect they’ve identified in a string of armed robberies. The man is considered armed and dangerous.Pittsfield Police are asking for the public’s help in finding 40-year-old Damian P. Ivas, who is charged with six counts of armed robbery while masked. The incidents, which date back to December, are the same ones for which 30-year-old George Bliss was recently charged.
Ivas is described as a white male. Police were unaware of his whereabouts as of Friday morning.
Police are asking anyone with information about Ivas’ location to call 911 or 413-448-9700 and press 0 for dispatch. Under no circumstances should the public approach or confront Ivas.
