Police are investigating the death of a toddler who was found unresponsive in a Shelburne, Vermont, home.
Shelburne police were called to the home early Tuesday morning.
The 2-year-child was taken the hospital and later pronounced dead.
The Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations is investigating, as it does with all infant or child death cases.
An autopsy is being performed to determine how the child died.
The child's name has not been released.
