Authorities took a woman in a stolen vehicle into custody after a series of hit-and-run crashes and a car chase in Burlington.27-year-old Ashley Martin was charged with operating a vehicle without owner's consent, attempting to elude police and related offenses.

The Burlington Free Press reports that police video footage shows Martin driving a stolen car into the city police headquarters Thursday night, causing structural damage.  She then sped away, before hitting two parked cars and smashing another car.

She's being held at the Chittenden County Correctional Facility. It wasn't immediately known if she has an attorney.
