Protests Planned Over Possible Syrian Strike

Sep 9, 2013

Several anti-war groups have organized vigils to be held across the country today to demonstrate opposition to a U.S. military strike on Syria.  The protests occur as President Obama attempts to build public support for a military response to the deadly chemical weapons attack in Syria. One of the vigils is taking place in Northampton, Massachusetts and WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with organizer Jeff Napolitano of the American Friends Service Committee
