Pittsfield, MA – The 2004 court case the Commonwealth vs. Valerio Di Giambattista where his arson conviction was overturned on appeal because of questionable police interrogation tactics resulted in the high court urging that law enforcement officials record statements made by all of its suspects. And as our Berkshire Bureau Chief, Carrie Saldo reports, the majority of police departments in the county now have that capability
