Rensselaer County DA Absentee Ballot Count Resumes

Absentee ballot counting has resumed this morning in the race for Rensselaer County district attorney. The Rensselaer County Board of Elections began the count Friday morning, which left Republican Joe Abelove leading Democrat Carmelo Laquidara by 463 votes by the end of the day. More than 2000 ballots still need to be counted.
