Report Indicates Less Winter Ice, Translates to Less Winter Economy

Plattsburgh, NY – The New York Public Interest Research Group has released a report linking ice data to global climate change. Their study found that lakes in New York State are experiencing ten fewer days of ice coverage than in past decades. And that's having a negative impact on the ecologies and economies of New York communities. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
