Researcher Says Farmers Must Curtail Water Use

Ithaca, NY – A Cornell University researcher says the world's growing population coupled with diminishing fresh water supplies should force changes in the way farmers irrigate their crops. That could lead to increased markets for northeast crops, where water resources are abundant. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
