Boston, MA – A new president has been selected for the University of Massachusetts. The board of trustees, after interviewing three finalists voted unanimously Thursday night to offer the job to Robert Caret. The 63 year old native New Englander has been president of Towson University in Maryland since 2003. He served 8 years as president of San Jose State University in California.
