Safe Motherhood Quilt Comes to Hudson Valley

Highland, NY – Inspired by the AIDS quilt, the Safe Motherhood quilt remembers women who died in childbirth. The creator of the quilty, maternal health expert Ina May Gaskin, will be in the Hudson Valley this weekend to call attention to the maternal mortality rate. She recently spoke with WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Lisa Phillips.
