The search continued Saturday for escaped felons Richard Matt and David Sweat who escaped from the maximum security Clinton Correctional facility in Dannemora.
Law enforcement continued to focus on an area near Cadyville, between Dannemora and Plattsburgh.
Much of the search is clustered in a area near the Trudeau Road. More than 800 Law enforcement personnel are on foot, in the air and on all terrain vehicles to scour the residential and rural area.
The manhunt is for escapees Richard Matt and David Sweat. Matt was convicted of killing a former employer and dismembering him. He also killed a man in Mexico.
Sweat killed a Broome County Sheriff’s deputy and avoided the death penalty by pleading guilty.
