SLC Opponents to State Dept: Use Local Data

Hudson, NY – Opponents of the proposed St. Lawrence Cement Greenport plant have fired off a letter to New York's Secretary of State. They want state department officials to consider local data on weather patterns in relation to the potential effects of air emissions from the proposed plant. St. Lawrence officials say the local information is unnecessary. WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne filed this report.
