Marrone had an opt-out clause in his contract after the team was purchased by Terry and Kim Pegula from the estate of Hall of Fame owner Ralph Wilson in March.

The College Football Playoffs start tonight when Oregon will take on Florida State in the Rose Bowl at 5 p.m. and then Ohio State goes head to head with Alabama in the Sugar Bowl at 8:30 p.m. The winners will face each other in the first ever College Football Playoff Championship.
