State Official Promotes Renewable Energy

Boston, MA – The Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust is responsible for promoting the development and usage of renewable energy in Massachusetts. It is funded through a surcharge on electricity bills, which produces about 25 million dollars a year to invest in renewable energy projects. Carter Wall, a resident of Leverett Massachusetts was recently named the trusts' executive director. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with her about her new duties, and changes in the renewable energy trust.....
