A Democratic state legislator launched a campaign for Massachusetts Attorney General on Thursday- the second candidate in the race.
State Represenative Harold Naughton from the central Massachusetts town of Clinton kicked off his campaign with a stop to shake hands with voters in Springfield and with a video message on the internet.
Naughton is a former prosecutor, a 9- term legislator, and a U.S. Army Reserve officer who has done tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Democrat Maura Healey, a former assistant attorney general, announced her candidacy earlier this week. The incumbent, Martha Coakley, is running for governor.
