State's Longest-Serving Republican Won't Run Again

Dalton, MA – Massachusetts' longest serving Republican in the House of Representatives announced Friday he won't seek another term. Representative Shaun Kelly was first elected to the House in 1990. He tells WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief Kelly Wilkinson that it was a difficult decision not to seek re-election, but that he never intended to make a career of politics.
