Albany, NY – Stephen J. Cannell is an Emmy Award-winning writer/producer, and bestselling author. His career spans 35 years of writing for television, film, and popular fiction. Cannell's career as a novelist began 20 years after his initial success in television. His 10th book is now out called Vertical Coffin, which is the 4th novel in his Shane Sulley series. Joe spoke with Cannel about his writing career, the FCC's crackdown on indecency, and about his main character Shane Sculley.
