Teachers and administrators in the Vermont town of Wilmington have reached an agreement on a new labor contract.

The details of the contract between the Twin Valley teachers and the board will remain confidential until it has been formally approved by the teachers and ratified by the school board.

Dwight Williams, a non-voting member of the Twin Valley School Board and committee chairman, says negotiations began in the fall of 2012.

He told the Brattleboro Reformer that salaries and term of the contract were among the issues that had to be settled.

The agreement was reached after four formal negotiation sessions, two mediation sessions and a Dec. 19 fact-finding session.
