Two men were killed late Tuesday night when a car crashed through the perimeter fence of the Westover Air Force Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts, struck a cement barrier and caught on fire.

The Westover Fire department put out the fire and extricated the driver and a passenger from the car. Both died. A spokesperson for the base said there is no evidence the driver of the car  intentionally crashed through the fence to gain entry to the military base.  The accident is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police.
