Two NY Counties Look at Patriot Act Revisions

Poughkeepsie, NY – Two New York County legislatures have before them today resolutions about the Patriot Act. A resolution in Dutchess County will be discussed for the first time about amending the Act. The issue is further along in Albany County, where legislators could vote on a resolution to urge Congress to review the Act, and eliminate provisions that may infringe upon fundamental rights and liberties. WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne reports.
