VT Governor Reflects on 1st Year in Office

Montpelier, VT – Elected Governor of Vermont in November 2002, Republican James Douglas took office in January 2003. The freshmen governor continually traverses the state, emphasizing job development. And while most of his initiatives were passed, he says the next year will bring a new round of legislative efforts. North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley spoke with Governor Douglas on his first year in office and his plans for next year.
