Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren will be in western Massachusetts Friday to promote her new autobiography.
Warren’s new book “A Fighting Chance”, published earlier this week, tells the story of her growing up in Oklahoma and her days as a law professor. But most of the 384 page book is about her service in Washington, where she helped create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for the Obama Administration before returning to Massachusetts to win the U.S. Senate election in 2012. The release of the book on Tuesday brought renewed speculation Warren might run for president in 2016. She has repeatedly said she will not be a candidate. Warren will read from the book a Springfield Technical Community College Friday night at 7.
