Watershed Protection Group Celebrates Return Of Rowing Programs On Connecticut River
Rowing programs are growing along the Connecticut River in Massachusetts. The opportunities for people to get out on the river coincide with successful efforts over the last decade to clean up the river. The Connecticut River Watershed Council will celebrate rowing on a cleaner river at its annual meeting this Sunday. It is free and open to the public. WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Connecticut River Watershed Council Executive Director Andrew Fisk.
