William Bryant Logan -part of this weekend’s Rensselaerville Festival of Writers- has written about oak and dirt and now he has a new book, out next month, about the air. It is entitled: Air: The Restless Shaper of the World.
The Rensselaerville Festival of Writers – to benefit the Rensselaerville Library – is a four-day celebration of literature which includes readings, book signings, writing workshops, discussions, exhibits, a book sale and a cocktail party with the authors.
This year’s line-up features: Lizz Winstead, Tim Cahill, Mary Morris, Howard Nelson, Galway Kinnell & Bill Logan – plus many others.
We welcome Alice Feiring, author of Naked Wine: Letting Grapes Do What Comes Naturally, has been published in many magazines and newspapers, including the New York Times. She is a recipient of the James Beard award and the 2011 Louis Roederer International Wine Writer’s Award for blog/on-line wine writing.
