The Windham Town Supervisor has been indicted by a Greene County grand jury.
Arrested on January 12, Stacy Post was originally charged with three counts of felony eavesdropping, and a misdemeanor possession of devices charge. A grand jury has bumped that up to 30 felony counts. The Catskill Daiy Mail reports Post, who is also the former Windham police chief, now likely faces a criminal trial that will also include one count of possession of an eavesdropping device.
Post can continue serving as supervisor for now.
Her arrest came after a 10-month investigation by New York State Police and their Computer Crimes Unit.
Post allegedly loaded spyware on town hall computer "to eavesdrop on employees and other users of the town offices."
