Each week on JazzSet, host Dee Dee Bridgewater shares exclusive live jazz performances.

Bridgewater brings a lifetime of artistic achievement to JazzSet. She won a Tony for The Wiz, Grammys for Dear Ella and Eleanora Fagan: To Billie with Love from Dee Dee, and the top musical honor in France, the Victoire de la Musique. In 2012 the University of Michigan awarded an honorary Doctor of Music degree, and in 2013 she's been on the bus with the Monterey Jazz Festival On Tour 55th Anniversary Celebration.

JazzSet home base is the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, with new Jazz Artistic Advisor Jason Moran. Kennedy Center Jazz on JazzSet features high-profile artists and, in the Discovery Series, emerging talent. Women bandleaders take center stage at the annual Mary Lou Williams Festival, emceed by Dee Dee herself.
