WAMC's The Roundtable is an award-winning, nationally recognized eclectic talk program. The show airs from 9am to noon each weekday and features news, interviews, in-depth discussion, listener call-ins, music, and much (much) more! Hosted by Joe Donahue and produced by Sarah LaDuke, The Roundtable tackles serious and lighthearted subjects, looking to explore the many facets of the human condition with civility, respect and responsibility. The show's hallmark is thoughtful interviews with A-list newsmakers, authors, artists, sports figures, actors, and people with interesting stories to tell. Since hitting the airwaves in May of 2001, The Roundtable has interviewed the likes of Arthur Miller, Kurt Vonnegut, Maya Angelou, Madeleine Albright, Jimmy Carter, John McCain, Bob Dole, Bill O'Reilly, Steve Martin, James Taylor, Bill Cosby, Stephen King, Melissa Etheridge and lots of other really cool people. Plus, Wilco does our theme song. What more can you ask for?

Bard SummerScape 2012 - "The Imaginary Invalid"

Starting this Friday, Bard SummerScape will present a production of Moliere's famous - and famously final - comedy of manners - The Imaginary Invalid. The all-male cast is directed by Erica Schmidt and stars Ethan Phillips in the title role and Peter Dinklage as his informed and ultimately influential maid. Saratoga P.L.A.N. and ASA's Tour de Farm

July 29th is the date when bikers hit the road and help save farmland. Tour de Farm, now in its third year, is a recreational bicycle ride organized by ASA and Saratoga P.L.A.N. in partnership with Saratoga National Historical Park. Impressionism at The Arkell Museum and The Fenimore Art Museum

The Arkell Museum in Canajoharie, NY and the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, NY are both showing American Impressionist paintings from the Arkell collections this summer. "American Impressionism: Paintings of Light and Life” is the exhibition at The Fenimore. “American Impressionism: Masterworks in Watercolor and Pastel” at the Arkell. We are joined by Diane Forsberg, the Arkell Museum's Chief Curator and Chris Rossi, the Associate Curator of Exhibitions at the Fenimore.
