Vox Pop is WAMC's live call-in talk program. Guests with expertise in areas ranging from Astronomy to George Washington speak with WAMC's hosts and answer questions posed by WAMC listeners. We also have a number of forums and guests who are regulars to Vox Pop such as our Science Forum and Gardening program.

Every Monday is a "Medical Monday."  Every Friday is a "Food Friday."

Election night is over, and the results are in. The Republicans re-take control of the Senate and clinch key governorships, while contentious races in our region offered up a few surprises.

  Pollsters are predicting low voter turnout around our region and around the nation this Election Day. Yet this year’s midterm elections are drawing a lot of media coverage, as leadership at the state and federal level hangs in the balance. So how come people don’t vote?

Joining us this afternoon for Medical Monday is radiation oncologist Dr. Arsyl De Jesus of New York Oncology Hematology. She’s here to answer your questions about cancer treatment and radiation therapy.
