President Obama to Honor Fallen Troops on Memorial Day

President Barack Obama is paying tribute to fallen warriors on Memorial Day, attending a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and honoring those who died in the Vietnam War.

The president will participate today in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington, and then mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Obama: The Day After

President Obama's visit to the UAlbany College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering may be in the books - but it's still the talk of the town -  Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports

The President's third visit to the region in as many years is being hailed as "a feather in the cap" of UAlbany's Nanotech college. 

President Obama praised SUNY's high-tech success in Albany, calling it a model for the rest of the country - SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher agrees.

President Barack Obama Visits UAlbany Nanotech Complex

For the third time in three years, President Barack Obama visited the Capital District for a Tuesday appearance at UAlbany's CNSE NanoTech Complex - Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Dave Lucas was there and files this report.

Air Force One touched down at Albany International Airport just before noon: the President immediately taken to CNSE, where he joined New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on a brief tour.  Some observers believe Obama's change of venue from Global Foundries to UAlbany has ties to his working relationship with Cuomo.
