The NBA All-Star break has begun following last night's wins by the Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls downed the Brooklyn Nets 92-76. Joakim Noah had 14 points and 13 rebounds for his fifth straight double-double. Taj Gibson scored 16 points and Carlos Boozer added 15 after missing three games with a strained left calf.
In the first round of the NFL draft, the first three players chosen were offensive linemen. No running back was taken in the first round, the first time that's happened in 40 years. The Kansas City Chiefs chose Eric Fisher with the No. 1 overall pick. The Jacksonville Jaguars took 6-foot-6, 306-pound Luke Joeckel, an offensive tackle from Texas A&M, with the second pick. The Dolphins chose Oregon's 6-foot-6 linebacker Dion Jordan third and Philadelphia chose offensive tackle Lane Johnson out of Oklahoma.
