As school vacation week wraps up for many kids in the region, the Norman Rockwell Museum is hosting a talk by an artist who has depicted many historical American events.

Do American civilians fully appreciate and recognize the cost of war?

Robert Weible is the New York State Historian and Chief Curator of History at the New York State Museum in Albany, NY. He joins us now to tell us about two exhibitions currently on display at the museum. The first is An Irrepressible Conflict: The Empire State in the Civil War and the second is Seneca Ray Stoddard: Capturing the Adirondacks. He’ll also tell us about the museum’s inaugural “Adirondack Day” on Nov. 3.
