Jesse joins us this morning to talk about the author/technology/issues of publishing. Some formats (200-page and shorter books) are becoming more feasible today than they were years ago. There also are more and more self-published books of all lengths around.

A Connecticut attorney who went to observe the military courts at Guantanamo has written an e-book about what he saw. Charles Church practiced law for many years before moving to Connecticut where he focused on human rights, and his book My Week at Guantanamo’s War Court, now available on Amazon came about after he observed the legal proceedings.

The popularity of e-readers is soaring, but you may have trouble finding that hot new title or some digital content at your local library. We hear from a trio of librarians trying to change that.
