Vermonters could be paying more for gasoline as early as next week.


The Vermont Senate has pulled back somewhat on a gasoline tax increase passed by the House, but has made up for that by increasing the diesel tax.


The Vermont House Transportation Committee has approved a gasoline tax increase to be phased in over two years.
