Washington edged Columbus 4-3 in overtime. Florida passed Anaheim 3-2. Philadelphia blanked Ottawa 5-0. Tampa Bay won against Montreal 2-1 in a shootout. Winnipeg bested Detroit 3-2 in a shootout. Phoenix defeated St. Louis 3-2 in overtime and Calgary fell to San Jose 3-2 in overtime.
