A Growing Movement: Restorative Justice In K-12 Schools

Schools all over the country are considering an alternative form of disciplining students called Restorative Justice, including in New York's Capital Region.

The Southern Berkshire Regional School District is beginning its search for a new superintendent, and is enlisting the help of an outside group to assist in the search. WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief Lucas Willard reports….

Teachers have a new resource to help them in the classroom. It’s called share my lesson, a new online resource bank, where teachers can collaborate and share teaching resources. Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, announced the new program today in Rockland County.
