Veronica Roth’s debut novel Divergent created a lot of buzz, as she brought the reader into a dystopian world that was divided into five factions. The book left readers breathless as the battle for control began, and in her highly anticipated second part of the trilogy, Insurgent, we pick up from where the first left off.  Katie Britton spoke with Roth about the series and the process of plotting out all three novels.

In this unique and compelling piece, they the immerse readers in Glory’s life, and beautifully weave words with photographs and paintings.

We can pretty much agree there’s nothing like farm fresh, and making delectable dishes with those ingredients. Heck with hot houses, and the storage mechanisms these days, we can get farm fresh all year round. So it kind of makes you feel bad if you grab that jarred tomato sauce from the pantry… or reach for that pop-tart in the morning to jump start the kid’s day. Well, no more my friends; we can do it all from scratch. (If we’re so inclined.) Alana Chernila has created some of the yummiest recipes for some of our old standbys, and it’s not as hard as you would think.

Sneaky Chef Missy Chase Lapine added a few more vegetable here, and some fruit there to our everyday recipes and voila! Meals with all the vitamins and nutrients kids (and adults) need, without the complaints.
