On this edition of Medical Monday is Dr. Eric Plakun of the Austen Riggs Center – a board certified psychiatrist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist practicing in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

Dr. Plakun is a graduate of Hofstra University, and received his M.D. from the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons. He’s a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a member of its assembly, chair of the APA committee on psychotherapy by psychiatrists, and a fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists. Joining us on this edition of Medical Monday is Dr. Hamish Kerr. Trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Kerr specializes in sports medicine and exercise physiology for children, teens and adults. Originally from Scotland, he is an expert in the management of sports injuries, especially concussions. He is certified to use ImPACT, a research-based neuropsychological testing program that helps clinicians evaluate sports-related head injuries and is a standard tool for professional and college athletic teams across the country. WAMC’s Alan Chartock hosts.

Joining us this afternoon to respond to your questions and comments about urology and urological issues is Dr. Paul Pietrow of premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley.

Dr. Pietrow earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine and was a resident in both general surgery and urologic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Angelotti earned her doctor of medicine degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New York State Medical Society, and sees patients at CapitalCare Family Practice in Ravena.
