NY Injunction: 2 Weeks of Legal Partial Birth Abortions

Kingston, NY – President Bush's newly signed Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act has most recently been challenged in New York, where a federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order to certain abortion providers. EPA Targeted For Easing Off on Emissions Violators

Plattsburgh, NY – The Environmental Protection Agency announced on Thursday that it may drop some on-going investigations into power plants suspected of violating the Clean Air Act. Nuke Plant Safety Questioned

Brattleboro, VT – A nuclear watchdog group is calling on Governor Douglas to order an independent safety assessment at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant.
