8/17 - Interview - Aidan Delgado

Albany, NY – Aidan Delgado was in the process of enlisting in the US Military when terrorists struck the World Trade Center on September 11th. He was also exploring Buddhism. Then in 2003 Delgado was deployed to Iraq and assigned to the Abu Ghraib prison. Eventually he filed for, and was granted, status as a contentious objector. In this interview on The Roundtable, Delgado speaks of his experiences and his new book - The Sutras of Abu Ghraib.

Albany, NY – Allison Janney is perhaps best known for portraying White House Press Secretary C.J. Craig on the show The West Wing. The role earned her not one, but four Emmys. Since then she has been busy working in television and film. In this interview on The Roundtable, Allison Janney talks about her career and her role in the Williamstown Theater Festival production of The Autumn Garden.

Albany, NY – John Kruth is a musician and author who recently wrote a biography of Texas song writer Townes Van Zandt. Van Zandt was not well known during his life, but his music has been gaining recognition since his death. His haunting country-folk music is said by some to be a major influence on 'outlaw country'. WAMC's Michael Eck interviews John Kruth in this segment. The book is called To Live's To Fly: The Ballad of the Late Great Townes Van Zandt.
