We’re here at SPAC, and we’re bringing out the big guns. SPAC President and Executive Director Marcia White is joining us here to talk about some recent events at SPAC, and what they’ve got planned for the future.

Marcia White was appointed the president of SPAC in 2005, and has overseen a major renovation of the theater during the first years of her tenure and has ensured the continuation of SPAC staples: the Ballet, the Jazz Festival and Philadelphia Orchestra.

There's trouble ahead for a local Housing authority.

Just in time for the winter holiday season, it’s the beer show on this edition of Vox Pop. Our beer panel – brewmaster George de Piro of Druthers Brewing in Saratoga Springs, brewmaster Paul McErlean of Mendocino Brewing Company in Saratoga Springs, and Russell Savoy of Homebrew Emporium in Rensselaer, New York and West Boylston, South Weymouth, and Cambridge, Massachusetts – answers your questions on beer and brewing. WAMC’s Katie Britton hosts.

Voters in Saratoga Springs will vote tomorrow on how the city government will be structured. A charter change is on the ballot. Voters can stay with the current commissioner form of government or decide to change to a council-manager form of government. For more on the charter question, WAMC’s Brian Shields spoke with Saratogian city desk reporter Lucian McCarty.
