There was a big upset in college basketball Tuesday night.

No. 5 San Diego St. took a 20-game winning streak into Laramie, Wyoming before being upset by the Wyoming Cowboys 68-62. San Diego State drops to 21-2 overall and 10-1 in conference play.

Meanwhile, fourth-ranked Wichita State had a 78-67 win over Southern Illinois. Ron Baker scored 19 points.

That leaves Wichita State and Syracuse as the only remaining unbeaten teams. No team has had a perfect regular season since Saint Joseph's in 2004.

In college basketball, it was a close one but Siena narrowly avoided defeat Monday night. After trailing by 16 points to last-place Fairfield in the first half, the Saints rallied to beat the Stags 77-75 at Times Union Center snapping a two-game losing streak.

Led by No. 1 Syracuse, the top six teams in The Associated Press college basketball poll are the same this week as last. Following the 23-0 Orange, who are a unanimous choice to be No. 1, are Arizona, Florida, Wichita State, San Diego State and Villanova.
