Tyson Chandler

In the NBA, Tyson Chandler returned from injury and J.R. Smith hit a go-ahead jumper in the second overtime and the New York Knicks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 107-101 on Wednesday night.

Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points and Beno Udrih added a season-high 21 for the Knicks.

John Wall scored 21 points and made two big defensive plays against Deron Williams down the stretch to lead the Washington Wizards to a 113-107 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.

Detroit knocked off Boston 107-106. Charlotte topped Toronto 104-102 in overtime.

In basketball, the New York Knicks have lost center Tyson Chandler for between 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his right leg. The team says that tests showed no ligament or nerve damage and surgery is not required. Chandler left in the first quarter of a 102-97 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday.

Saint Mary's and North Carolina A&T are the first two winners in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Saint Mary's moved into the second round with a 67-54 win over Middle Tennessee.

North Carolina A&T won against Liberty 73-72 and tonight LIU Brooklyn takes on James Madison in Dayton, Ohio.

In the NBA, Indiana defeated Orlando 95-73. Denver slid past Oklahoma City 114-104. Milwaukee beat Portland 102-95 and Sacramento won against the Clippers 116-101. Jimmer Fredette scored three points.
