1. For a richer,  more chocolaty hot chocolate drink, use low fat Dutch processed cocoa and evaporated milk instead of high fat cocoa and whole milk.

The U.S. is showing its support today for Ukraine's new leadership as Secretary of State John Kerry visited the capital. Kerry’s visit to Kiev, lasting just hours, comes as Ukraine's government grapples with a Russian military takeover of Crimea—a mostly pro-Russian region in southeastern Ukraine.

In the studio today on this Medical Monday is Dr. Gerald Ortiz, a board certified orthopedic surgeon at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, New York. His practice focuses on arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle, as well as pediatric and foot/ankle disorders.

We’re taking you down south today, where the grits are tender, the buttermilk is flowing and the grills are fired up. Chef Jasper Alexander of Hattie’s Restaurant and Chef Sean Custer of Capital Q Smokehouse are here with us and we’re going to get you drooling for some soul food.
