  Susie Essman has played the sassy Susie Greene for all 8 seasons of HBO’s critically acclaimed and award-winning Curb Your Enthusiasm, her hilarious bouts of withering sarcasm and uninhibited insults her character’s trademark. She is also an accomplished stand-up. 

She will host Laughingstock! at the 4th Annual Woodstock Comedy Festival on Friday, September 23. The evening will feature stand-up from Karen Bergreen, Kendra Cunningham, Jaye McBride, and Liz Miele.

Laughingstock! is a benefit for Family of Woodstock and for the Polaris Project.

  Stephen King has called him “a national treasure,” comedian and actor Gilbert Gottfried is known for his trademark squinting and screeching...and hilarious observations.

He started his stand-up career at the age of 15, and in 1980 he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live. He came to fame doing a series of memorable promo bits for MTV, and over the years he's appeared in numerous films, including Beverly Hills Cop II and The Aristocrats.

In addition, Gottfried regularly appeared on Late Night With David Letterman, Hollywood Squares, The Howard Stern Show and The Tonight Show. He is also the creator and host of the very successful podcast Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast where he talks with the show business legends, icons and behind-the-scenes talents who shaped his childhood and influenced his comedy.

Gilbert will be headlining the Woodstock Comedy Festival next weekend on September 24th at the Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock at 8PM.

  The Woodstock Comedy Festival takes place this weekend and the headliner will be Robert Klein. Klein is a Grammy, Tony, and Emmy-nominated comedian and actor who has appeared in film, theater, and on television for fifty years. 

Born in the Bronx, he was a member of the famed Second City theatrical troupe in Chicago. He was nominated twice for Grammy Awards for "Best Comedy Album of the Year" for his albums Child of the Fifties and Mind Over Matter. He received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in the hit Neil Simon musical, They're Playing Our Song.

His memoir, The Amorous Busboy of Decatur Avenue is an affectionate coming-of-age story about growing up in the '50s and '60s before embarking on a show business career.

Robert Klein will be performing on Saturday night at the Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock, NY at 7:30.

 

   The Woodstock Comedy Festival is a festival with a mission: Comedy for a Cause. Each year their net profits will be donated to theirr charity partners Polaris Project and Family of Woodstock for the battle against human trafficking and domestic violence.

Their second-annual festival is a three-day event Sept. 19-21 and will feature stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, improv to panels, films and more.

Colin Quinn will headline this year’s festival – performing at The Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock, NY on Saturday, September 20th.

    Tony nominated comedian Mario Cantone will perform at the Woodstock Comedy Festival on September 21st.

Mario, who is best known for his role as Anthony on the hit HBO series Sex and the City is also an accomplished stage actor and singer. He has performed on Broadway in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Love! Valor! Compassion!, Assassins, and his one-man show, Laugh Whore.

Besides his acting career, he has conquered the comedy scene performing as a standup and impressionist in venues like Carnegie Hall.

  Dick Cavett, the host of The Dick Cavett Show — which aired on ABC from 1968 to 1975 and on public television from 1977 to 1982 — is the author, most recently, of Talk Show: Confrontations, Pointed Commentary, and Off-Screen Secrets.

He will be in Woodstock this weekend as part of the Woodstock Comedy Festival.
