Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal on Monday unveiled steps he says will expedite and strengthen how the United States accepts refugees of the Syrian Civil War. The White House has said it will accept 10,000 refugees during the next fiscal year. The Democrat talked with WAMC’s Jim Levulis about his plan.
